Bróna Keogh is a soulful, indie folk singer from Dublin, who emerged onto the scene with her spellbinding single ‘Sea Witch’ followed closely by her debut EP ‘Packed My Bags’. Her latest single ‘Love is Just a Muse’ is a stripped back, emotive song for those still haunted by the ghosts of unrequited love.

‘’Poignant and beautiful lyrics…. I found Bróna’s sound captivating’’ – Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, RTE Radio 1

Speaking about where her artistic drive comes from Bróna explains, “I try to elicit a positive impact on the wellbeing of my listeners by creating a safe space where people can connect with themselves and others on a deeper level.” She draws inspiration from folklore, pop culture, r&b, neo-soul, americana, jazz, blues and the magic of the natural world.

”Full of melancholy and introspection, I think this EP (Packed My Bags) deserves a lot more love than I think it’s getting’’ Andrea Cleary, Nialler9 Podcast

Bróna has been honing her stage craft with performances supporting some of Ireland’s most exciting new artists including Pillow Queens, Niamh Reagan, Dani Larkin, Cormac Looby, Caoi de Barra, Wyvern Lingo, and D. Cullen as well as international artists Nadia Reid and Gravedancer to name a few.

Love is Just a Muse was recorded at Windmill Lane Studios by up and coming producer / engineer Lucy McGuiness.

It will be out on April 13th followed by a full band show in Whelan’s on April 23rd with support by Ger Kelly and Tiernan.
