Following the sold-out launch of his debut album Start Again at Whelan’s in May 2026, singer-songwriter Brian Horgan returns to this great venue with his band for a full show.
If you missed him last time, Brian’s live performance is a mix of original songs and covers influenced by a seventies ‘yacht rock’ vibe meets showman. Think Christopher Cross with Chris de Burgh rather than Christy Moore.
Inspired by the many chapters of his life—including his time at Dublin’s Abbey Theatre and as an invited guest performer with the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA)—Brian’s songs look with optimism at all the aspects of love and loss from friends, lovers, children and parents. He weaves a night that builds all these stories into one of hope, humour, passion and resilience to go forward and keep loving.
You can listen to Brian’s album on all streaming platforms but it’s his effervescent live delivery that brings these unique songs to a whole other level. If Neil Diamond and Broadway had a baby it might just be Brian!
This uplifting night will leave you singing and dancing in the aisles.
