Described as “fun, funky and high-octane” by PostBurnout.com, Dublin-based AZURE (Sam Jones, Seán Woods, Evanael, Devin Hanson, and Sam Parcon) emerged into the college alternative music scene in late 2023. Originally starting as a few friends playing music, the band found themselves striving for more.
Taking from the group’s various influences, ranging from the rock and indie sounds of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Arctic Monkeys, to mellow reggae, to pop and disco from the Sugababes and Nile Rogers, the band’s discography contains a track for everyone to enjoy.
FUSED
Fused are an up-and-coming grunge rock band that formed in early 2022. Their addiction to gigging began in 2022 alongside the release of their debut single Love Prone, which has since surpassed 10,000 streams on Spotify.
Known for their energy, Fused have made a name for themselves in the Dublin scene and are only getting started. Since Love Prone, Fused have been busy songwriting, with a finished EP recorded through Beardfire Studios and a studio album in the works, due for release in 2024.
Composed of Eoin, Barry, Thalia and Michael, this four piece is always ready to blow the roof off whatever venue they stumble into, whether it be a summer festival or a night in Fibbers basement.
PRECINCT
So-called “indie-rock project”, Precinct have burst out of the Dublin punk scene with their distinctive fuse of jazz, rock and R&B. Born out of the first strum of a guitar in Junior Cert music class in 2016, Precinct have evolved to shape their sound to create something truly unique. With their upcoming single to be released, Precinct aims to reinvent what a “college band” could be. It’s fast. It’s upbeat. It’s LOUD!
