Ava McKechnie is a talented upcoming singer-songwriter, with a silky rich voice that you’ll want to keep listening to. The twenty year old Irish singer-songwriter draws inspiration from artists such as Damien Rice, Shania Twain and The Script. As an avid reader and novel-writer, Ava has a strong sense of storytelling that captures audiences.
Ava’s debut single, ‘Rose Coloured Glasses’ was released on the 29th of March, produced by Simon Janes and co-produced by Grammy Award Winner Pete Boyd Smith. With a slight edge to it, Ava’s debut single captures the listener with its emotive lyrics and catchy chorus. It has been played on radio stations all around Ireland and on BBC.
Ava’s band effortlessly blends genres such as rock, pop and country. They have been gaining increased attention whilst regularly gigging around Brighton and London. The band are currently working on Ava’s next eagerly awaited single and are extremely excited to make their debut Headline Gig back at home this October.
