If Scott Pilgrim got knocked up by the ghost of John Peel to the entire back catalogue of placebo and letlive., THIS would be the sound of the labour pains, the melodic cochophany of progressive basslines, hard heavy drums and New Wave licks, all ducttaped together and tossed terra firma into a vat full of acid and Black Francis’ tears.
