DREAMING OF JUPITER

LIGHT OF MY LIFE Single Launch and Art Exhibition plus support ^ Upstairs ^ Facebook event Dreaming Of Jupiter are set to release Alt-Pop influenced debut single ‘Light Of My Life’ in Whelan’s Dublin on October 20th. The band have collaborated with a team of Dublin’s most talented artists to host an event which will comprise a night of music fused with visual art, and is sure to be one of the most creative single release events this year. Formed in 2015, Dreaming Of Jupiter are a 3 piece band based between Dublin City & London, who’s music is a fusion of ambient and electronic flavors with soulful vocals. The genre of this music – although difficult to pin down, elegantly blends Melodic Pop influences with Electronica, and Trip Hop. Preceding the bands’ performance, a selection of artists will exhibit original works, which have been inspired by the band’s single ‘Light Of My Life’. These pieces promise to be exciting interpretations of the song, expressed through various artistic mediums including painting, sculpture, graffiti art and textile design. The evening will begin with the artists presenting their work, which will be followed by a performance from fantastic Dublin band ‘Almost Ghosts’. Dreaming Of Jupiter will then take to the stage with a performance of ‘Light Of My Life’ followed by an energetic and creative live set of music which is sure to leave fans wanting more…
