“One of 2015’s most clever albums. Barnett specializes in spinning seemingly mundane thoughts and events into sneakily hilarious stream-of-consciousness lyrics — sort of like a less cryptic Stephen Malkmus, or Jerry Seinfeld with a fuzz pedal.” – Rolling Stone
After a string of brilliant EPs full of hazy and cleverly detailed song-stories like Avant Gardener and History Eraser, Australia’s Courtney Barnett is set to release her debut album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit on March 23rd. Her latest single ‘Pedestrian at Best’ is out now having been premiered as a Hottest Record on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show.
She also announced a European tour featuring her debut Irish performances in Dublin’s famous Whelan’s venue.
