Carol Anne McGowan, a singer-songwriter from Co.Donegal, will be launching her limited-release live album “Songs from the Cellar”, recorded in a 400-year-old wine cellar in the small German town of Oestrich-Winkel, on the Rhine. These seven songs form a beautiful introduction to her unique musical and lyrical vision, with beguiling melodies and haunting vocals, songs of bittersweet romance, loss and longing, calling up images of faded ballrooms, of journeys undertaken at sea, of dark forests and fairytales.
