BRASS PHANTOMS

plus support ^ Upstairs ^Facebook event Brass Phantoms are a four-piece indie/post-punk band from Dublin, Ireland. Since forming in 2014 the band has released two EPs, most notably their second EP, ‘City of Wolves’, which has received strong reviews from Hot Press Magazine and the Last Mixed Tape, as well as gaining radio play on major stations such as RTÉ 2fm and Radio Nova. Brass Phantoms have played shows all over Ireland, mainly in Dublin. The band has gigged in premier venues such as Whelan’s, the Workman’s Club and the Grand Social, to name but a few. The group has become known for the energy they display in their live performances. In a review from one of the band’s live shows in the Workmans Club, Unsigned and Independent Magazine wrote: “They possess a level of ability that so few bands are blessed with and, as such, their approach manages to comprehend a conclusive sense of wanton abandonment in the process”. They have been played on some of Ireland’s top radio stations, including RTÉ 2fm, 98fm and Radio Nova, as well as being played by top DJs such as Roddie Cleere, Dan Hegarty and John Loftus. Now, Brass Phantoms will kick off a big summer with a headline show upstairs in Whelan’s.
