Carved from the crotch of Zeus, this is a band originated with three people who met while picking apples for an Indian man for the good wage of $1.27 an hour (plus all the apples you can eat… 6 grown men now make up Statues Of Us with Mr. Al ‘Icepick’ Langford (lead guitar, bass) whose solos are so hot, he has to leave his guitar pick in the freezer. Johny ‘Crow’ McKiernan (rhythm guitar, ukulele, vocals) thinks – correctly – that 7/11 is the best thing since sliced bread. He also loves sliced bread. Andy ‘Frizzy Stix’ Frazer (Vocals, keys, guitar) was torn from the womb rapping much to the surprise of the Doctors. Speaking of Doctors, the trio are joined by cagefighter and part-time doctor Jeeban Das on the violin. Mike Morgan brings 96 years of experience and sex appeal to the bass while Dave ‘The Octopus’ Korosztos plays the drums like they are going out of fashion. They aren’t.
The original trio met under the same roof in Vancouver – a roof that Icepick Al fell head first from eventually. They shared a common love of alcohol and senseless music that kept them entertained on cold Canadian nights in the orchard. After a year of freezing in the Rockies, starving around the USA and falling back into Europe, they recorded an EP under the masterful eye of Mixmaster Mike – world renowned Welsh Wizard of producing.
They are currently playing gigs all around London, Cardiff and coming your way soon…sexually.

Cry Monster Cry are Dublin brothers Richie and Jamie Martin. They create folk music drawn from a rich song writing history and brotherly harmonies. They released their debut EP “The Fallen” in 2012 after two months of writing and recording in a studio in the seaside town of Malahide. The past few months have seen them embarking on their first headline tour of Ireland as well as playing gigs with artists such as Sea of Bees, Wallis Bird, Hudson Taylor and Jape. The talented duo will be debuting some new material taken from their forthcoming album.
Guinness/Hot Press Play On the Day winners In Their Thousands formed in late 2011, the band’s debut EP was released to acclaim at the Earagail Arts Awakening Festival in February 2012. They returned to the studio under producer Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers/Cathy Davey) for their second EP (Cellars) which was released in September 2012. The band continued to have success and as they went on win the Guinness/Hot Press Play On the Day National Final in November. To a capacity crowd in Whelan’s, Dublin they overcame their rivals in the prestigious competition.
In Their Thousand have created some beautifully crafted songs with dynamic arrangements, powerful vocal harmonies and signature hooks barely scratch the surface of the band’s sound which can only be described as diverse. Their live set changes from stunning vocal harmony laced acoustic acapella folk to edgy electric alternative rock in a seamless progressive crescendo.
