Whelanslive is excited to announce it’s involvement with the Light Colour Sound Music Festival the 4th and 5th of July as part of it’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
In those 25 years Whelan’s has stuck true to its ethos of pushing Irish music and really encouraging young ventures. It brings to the festival it’s 25 years of experience and identity.
The inaugural festival has a stomping line up that holds its own the big festivals while keeping an almost all Irish line up. On the bill for this hotly tipped new festival of the year are over 110 acts including: And So I watch You From Afar, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Cathy Davey, Jerry Fish, Jape, Wallis Bird, The Riptide Moment, The Hot Sprockets, The Raglans , The Amazing Few, The Barley Mob just to name a few of the acts.
