That’s it. Walpurgis Family will be playing one last gig, one last recital, an auditive slideshow of what has been 8 years, 3 albums, a number of great collaborations, variations in lineups, great gigs, Popical Island days, Hoot Nights, album launches, charity gigs, and so much more. It’s a shoebox filled with beautiful memories and music we’re very proud of.
We’d like to thank everyone who has ever been at our gigs, everyone who helped us out and listened, and everyone who has shared the stage and recorded with us. It’s been a real blast and we’re forever grateful for the friendship & musical sparks.
Festivities will take place on Saturday July 1st upstairs in Whelan’s, with support TBD. 8 EUR in, we kick off at 8pm. The amazing Stoat will be joining the celebrations on the night.
To celebrate in style we’ll be posting videos, old tracks, reflections and oh well, just plain shenanigans too.
After that, the lid goes on the shoebox.
