Vistas have burst onto Scotland’s music scene with hooky choruses and radio ready tunes. In 2017 they released the singles Feel Alive, Strong Swimmer, Hold Me and the latest single Retrospect to much critical acclaim along with support at radio from BBC introducing and BBC R1 DJ’s Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart & 6 music’s Steve Lemacq.Live wise 2017 saw their first full UK headline tour with TOUTS and rounding off a festival filled year with six date tour of Scotland and a sold out home town show in Edinburgh. 2018 is shaping up to be more of the same for the band with a BBC Scotland live session with Vic Galloway to premier their next single ‘calm’ (click to listen) on 23rd march (out via Lab Re-cords), slots at Live at Leeds, Hit The North & Liverpool Sound City in the diary, another trip around Scotland and a slot supporting Circa Waves all announced.Retrospect premiered on CLASH magazine’s site to a great review (click here) with the ac-companying video going out over on DIY magazine (click here)The band have been recording with Liverpool producer Rich Turvey (blossoms & the coral) at Parr Street Studios and plan on following up ‘calm’ with their next release on may 25th.
