Trainman Blues is the brainchild of Irish singer/songwriter Richard Farrell and Danish producer Laust ‘Krudtmejer’ Nielsen.
Winners of the ‘Best Blues Album 2018’ with their debut album at the Danish Music Awards. Their sound takes inspiration form early electric and acoustic blues tied together with modern production techniques influenced from hiphop and reggae. These productions are enveloped with soulful/bluesy melodies and thought provoking lyrics of Richard Farrell.
Joining them on their Irish tour is one of Ireland’s most treasured blues guitarists, Pat Farrell, with over 40 years of the Irish blues scene. Pat Plays with his band The Business, The Dublin Blues Cartel with Mick Pyro and many artists. On drums is Ben Cooper, a groove master with a heart of gold. Ben has performed with RTE Concert Orchestra, jazz ensembles and musical theatre pit work.
