‘TIL THEY’RE ALL BROKEN

plus support REGROOVEANATION _ Main Venue _ Greetings good folks! Til They’re All Broken would like to cordially invite everyone to our next concert which will take place in the big-smoke of Dublin City. We will be playing at Whelan’s on the 22nd of November with our good friends, the soulful Dublin-based troubadours, ReGroovanation. Bring a friend, bring an awkward, rarely seen family member, or if you prefer, bring a complete stranger. Doors at 8 pm. Funky original music to start soon thereafter. We look forward to seeing everyone! — — — — ‘Til They’re All Broken is a kinetic and theatric funk-rock music group, based in Galway, Ireland. The eclectic ensemble features vocal led funk-rock stylings, a dose of instrumental jazz, and a dollop of world music flavourings. Simply stated and plainly put, TTAB is drawn to the unexpected; or as Captain Beefheart once said, “Opaque melodies that would bug most people.” The animated and captivating trio features Harold Wolk on guitar and vocals, Bruno Pierucci on bass and backing vocals and John Tierney on drums, percussion and backing vocals. These like-minded, musical risk-takers derive their collective sound from divergent historical living environments and varied life experiences. Harold is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, Bruno’s from Bariloche, Argentina and John is from Kilkenny, Ireland. These contrasting perspectives help to inform their unique approach to their diverse and varied original compositions. The compositions and arrangements, are, in part, inspired by the some of the great bands and musical deviants of the last 75 years. Such irreverent characters and groups such as Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Gentle Giant, Miles Davis, early Red Hot Chilli Peppers, King Crimson and The Buena Vista Social Club have left an indelible mark, for better or worse, on the band’s members. The trio released its debut, full length musical offering, Outside the Lines, on September 14th 2017. ‘Til They’re All Broken, the name, is inspired by a long lost brother, Chuckie Geis.
