This Sowing Season are an alternative rock band from Dublin Ireland. They band was formed when members Alan O Keeffe (singer/guitarist) and Shane Ryan (drummer) both met in college studying music in 2014. Soon after they enlisted friends Mark Kirwan (bass guitar). Finally they added the last piece of the puzzle with Richard McNeill (lead guitar) and the lineup was complete. To date the band have recorded an EP entitled “This Carrier Bird Has flown” comprising of three tracks, This Carrier Bird Has Flown, Dead Irish Writers and Stretchy Skies. The band is currently working hard on their live set with gigs lined up over the summer and they have just recorded their debut single which will be released in October.
