The band are currently laying the foundations for their first album which is guaranteed to grab listeners by the lapels and shake the build up of mainstream popular culture candyfloss from their heads. “Derry/Londonderry’s The Wood Burning Savages are The Most Amazing Live band I Have Seen All Year – bar none. https://www.facebook.com/intheirthousands Beautifully crafted songs with dynamic arrangements and powerful hooks. The bands sound can only be described as diverse. Their live set changes from stunning vocal harmony laced acoustic acapella folk to edgy electric alternative rock in a seamless progressive crescendo. Since the release of their debut EP in 2012 In Their Thousands have gone on to record a further 3 records working with producers Dave ‘Skippy’ Christophers (Between The Waters) and Tommy Mc Laughlin (Cellars) of Villagers acclaim. The Artwork for these 4 EP’s tie together to complete a bigger picture. Since winning the Hotpress/2FM/Guinness competition in November 2012 the band spent the last year touring both home and abroad, recording and chalking up a serious of prestigious festival appearances including Electric Picnic, Westport Festival, Glasgowbury, Little Apple Cider Festival (Cornwall, UK), Knockanstockan, Vantastival and many others. July of 2013 also saw the band reach the Irish charts for the first time with the release of their debut single ‘Tear It All Apart’. The track was play listen on both national and regional in both the Ireland and the UK.
