The North Sea are a Alt Rock/Post punk revival band based in Dublin, they recently recorded their debut album in Black Box studios France out in early 2014

Since their formation The North Sea were part of The Whelan’s One To Watch Tour 2012, played a large number of festivals and shows in Ireland and the UK, and had the honour of touring with a major influence on the band, Whipping Boy.

Their music has being described as a a gentle blend of atmospheric music and dreamy lyrics, and The Cure and The Smiths with a grungier edge,
