THE FALSE AND THE FAIR

https://www.facebook.com/TheFalseAndTheFair/ https://twitter.com/TFATF_BAND https://soundcloud.com/thefalseandthefair “(Bald Apes) skirts the obvious over its five minute running time, going from megaphone-screamed vocals to sweet-vocal hook to female wailing suddenly while the band flit between post-rock, psychedelic and more straight ahead styles”Nialler9 The False and the Fair are Tommy Cullen, Cormac Feeley, Jacob Fry and Adam Nugent. The Dublin-based group have played in numerous venues throughout the city, and as a resident band of the Weathertop organisation are at the heart of a new, all-inclusive and rapidly growing music scene. The band released their Debut single ‘Bald Apes’ on April 22nd, and celebrated by playing to a packed house at their launch gig in the Workman’s Club. The track showcases the band’s psychedelic blend of progressive and alternative rock, in a bombastic mini-odyssey pondering humankind’s place on the planet we have conquered. Released on Weathertop Records, the single marks an unorthodox but confident first step from a band with a unique voice. Its video, directed by Hugh Mulhern and premiered by Nialler9, adds to the Bald Apes legend by depicting a gang who visually flaunt their devotion to the animal within. TFATF plan to record and release new material in the coming months. — — — — —

BE CURIOUS, KID

https://www.facebook.com/becuriouskid/ Be Curious, Kid are 3 piece instrumental Post-Rock band who met while studying music in college. They bonded over a mutual love for ASIWYFA and loud noises. Their last year has been spent gigging extensively around Dublin and honing their live show which has to be seen in the flesh. A collective of orchestrators makes music that sounds like a bucket of wrenches falling on a tin roof. //DEBUT SINGLE GUN RUNNING FOR GANDHI // OUT NOW
