Conall Baileys’ “Finding Holes” “Finding Holes is my innermost thoughts and anger – basically instead of killing someone I’ve made music.” Not only is Conall Bailey creating art, but he’s selflessly ensuring the safety of the public at large at the same time. Two years in the making, ‘Finding Holes’ features over twenty artists, some hailing from as far afield as New Zealand. The twelve track album is as diverse as Baileys’ repertoire of musical instruments. “writing music stops me from walking into McDonalds and spraying everyone with a spud gun.” You’d be forgiven for thinking that this might be dark offering, far from it. ‘Finding Holes’ is fundamentally upbeat, using Baileys’ wicked humour to balance challenging topics. Inspiration for his tracks comes from a unique range of sources. “Buy and Sell You’ deals with amorous ghosts, ‘Jim Jones’ tackles the infamous cult leader, ‘Drowning’ takes a look at heartbreak and the title track, ‘Finding Holes’ is an introspective to our own convictions.
