Native Oak is a class act with bags of talent. He has a very complete & accomplished sound, that creates a remarkable intimate atmosphere. He is a singer songwriter, from Co. Kildare which he now resides on Leitrim’s west coast. Native Oak has a fantastic warming finger picking style and a voice that has captivated upon many an individual that has seen his show. Native Oak released his first debut album “Never Too Old” in 2014 which has received success throughout Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany & Holland. Native Oak spent the past year in the depths of Irelands west coast recording his second album that is due out 2018. He has a purity in his arrangements which he performs on a selection of guitars. From his smooth and warm finger picking style matched with his gravelly voice that kind of whispers his reflective lyrics. His has opened up for Mick Flannery, Ger Wolfe, Bitch Falcon, Junior Brother & many other names on the scene. Headlined two fantastic turn out shows in Whelans, Dublin & Matt Molloys, Westport, while finding great reception in many other venues & festivals throughout his tours. Native Oak is quoted to sound similar to the works of his inspirations such as John Martyn, Nick Drake, Eddie Vedder, Nick Cave, Ray La Montagne, Iron & Wine, Bon Iver and you can see this now in his evoking style.
