MYLES MANLEY

Whelanslive.com presents

MYLES MANLEY

plus guests

Myles Manley is a popstar from county Sligo, based in Dublin.

Myles took the decision to flush the toilet on popular music around July 2010. Amid scenes of personal and societal upheaval, he wrote a load of songs in Dublin, London and New York City, and set about finding ways to record them.

The result was three independent releases in quick succession, beginning in March 2012: Myles Manley EP (orchestrated folk), Rocknroll Vicar / Rocknroll Priest (an LP of guitar music made with backing band The Little People), and Jagger Manqué EP (electronic arrangements of homeless songs, produced by his cousin Mr. Jefferson in Hatfield, Greater London) — a full career arc in just over a year.

Greatest Hits 2012-2013 compiles 12 of the best songs from the ‘opening trilogy’ of releases, as well as a new single ‘Next Please’, pointing onwards. The collection will be available as a free download via mylesmanley.com for a limited period starting August 2013, the idea being to bring newcomers up to date with what Myles has been doing.

Without a hint of exaggeration, Manley is currently one of the best young singer-songwriters in the country and it’s only a matter of time until the rest of the world knows it
