+ guests Formed in August 2009, Milk is a Dublin pop-rock band with blues and soul influences. In September 2011, the band’s version of “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder was selected for an ITV documentary. It is a biography of the Academy Award winning actor John Thaw. It will be aired in early 2012. The title track ‘Try’ off their debut EP was described in the 2010 Christmas edition of HotPress by Celina Murphy as “a humble, bluesy ditty with bags of quirk and a classic-sounding hook. Sweet.” They also made the shortlist for Most Promising New Artist at the Irish Music Meteor Awards 2010. They have supported the likes of Director, Riptide Movement and The Cast of Cheers, played at Dublin City Soul Festival 2010 and received airplay on 2FM, Spin 103.8 and Radio Nova.
