ZEROS & ONES

https://www.facebook.com/zerosandonesmusic/

Zeros & Ones’ debut Winese Democracy EP was released in January 2016. Produced by Mono of Galway hard rock legends This Nachez, Winese Democracy features 4 fuzzed out tracks based on life in their hometown of Galway.

“There’s a sharp focus to their sound, one of unrelenting power and unapologetic decisions. Heavy sounds spiked by softer vocals and subtle melodies puncture the air as ‘Winese Democracy’ begins, and for the most part it never gives up” – Anthem Review

” ‘Winter Anymore’ is the stand-out track on this EP… A haunting intro is complimented with the perfect tone of gritty bass and drums to form a tattoo that seems more zombie-herd than marching band.” – An Áit Eile

Zeros & Ones released our follow-up Opaline EP in March 2017. Recorded by Hob Junker (Rural Savage), produced by Will O’Conner (Grounds for Invasion, Willow Sea) and mastered by Carl Saff (Dinosaur Jr., Thurston Moore), Opaline consists of 5 tracks exhibiting a mix of grunge, indie, funk rock and shoegaze.

SLOUCH

https://www.facebook.com/slouchdublin/

“Dublin based trio Slouch have previously likened their music to “the sound of gorillas caged in a polystyrene prison cell.” This self-analysis is slightly unfair as their sound is far from personifying primitive tendencies which is demonstrated in their latest release, a double single featuring ‘It’s Not a Man Abandons Post’ and ‘Umbrella On The Empty Sea’.

Both of these tunes hark back to the golden age of the 90s where instruments jaunted between tempos creating an interesting dynamism to the track, presenting something new to audiences even after several listens. If you are previous unfamiliar with Slouch, then expect to hear traces of Weezer and Queens of the Stone Age blended together in their heavier grungy guitar fuzz lead arrangements. Keep your eyes and ears peeled to hear more from Slouch over the coming festival months.”
– Zara Hedderman – State Magazine

“A lethargically-paced brace that reaffirms what we learned from its predecessor – that you’d never get a hard day’s work out of the lads – It’s Not a Man… sees Slouch really lean into their name on this one, conjuring more slack indie rock by way of Weezer and the Seattle sound this time around, the Loctite rhythm section proving more than adequate foil for Conor Wilson’s Xanax’d-out vocal.”
– Stevie Lennox – The Thin Air
