Youth Mass is an Indie pop 4 piece hailing from Trim in County Meath.
The band is the brainchild of 4 friends of Trim, and was formed in 2010, and in more recent times have been joined by expert musician Gavin Mulhall, from Celbridge.
The boys have released an album and an EP, both to much acclaim, and their live shows especially come in for very favourable reviews.
The band has a steady and growing following, and get regular airplay locally and nationally.
Some highlights include supporting New Zealand band The Naked and Famous in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, playing the main Body & Soul stage at Electric Picnic, and filling their first nationwide tour, playing 21 dates, north and south of the border.
The band’s debut album “morning run/evening sun” was given the award of Album of the Week on 2FM, and reached no8 in the Irish Album Charts.
Youth Mass have appeared playing live on Irish TV, and done the same in nearly every Irish radio station. Their music has appeared on the soundtrack to many movies, made both here and Hollywood, as well as several ads and the dizzy heights of The Sunday Game!
The boys are in the final stages of recording their next next EP, and that will be released in March ’17, the first single off the EP will be released on Friday 9th Dec ’16.
