/// DANIEL JOHN PAXTON & THE CHROME HORSE ///

https://www.facebook.com/Danieljohnpaxton

Daniel is no stranger to success. As a key member of some of Ireland’s most successful bands, he has opened for The Jesus and Mary Chain at The Roundhouse, supported The Lemonheads and Michael Nau and toured the UK with The Besnard Lakes – which led to Jace Lacek of The Besnard Lakes mixing Railway Line.

Daniel has also shared billings with the likes of Sonic Youth, Doves, Chemical Brothers and MC5. That’s not to mention the time he was flown to Sunset Studios in L.A. to work with multi Grammy Award winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (Frank Zappa, The White Stripes, Morrissey), having already worked with Pat McCarthy (U2, Madonna, REM) and Ryan & Paul Cobb (The War on Drugs). Daniel’s songs have featured on television shows, major ad campaigns and video games.

Having taken a sabbatical from music to spend time with his fiancee and young daughter, Daniel is back with his own twist on Americana/Alt Folk. Showing a love of reverb, harmonies and old synths, these new tracks possess the confident restraint and stripped-back maturity of a man who has experienced life and is comfortable enough to bare his soul.
