+ guests In the run up to the release of his eagerly awaited forthcoming album, Max returns to Whelans with a set of soulful and melodic orginal songs which draw on a fresh mix of 80s synths, moody film-noir and the classic trademark piano.Originally from the UK, Max has now settled in Dublin. In 2008 he released his debut album ‘In The Blood’ to widespread critical acclaim, and material from this has been used in film and tv series. After a break of a couple of years, feeding and raising his young family, Max returns to the live arena in April at Whelans. 2012 will see the release of Max’s as-yet-untitled second album, written and recorded over the last 2 years.
