Kev Fox is a talented singer songwriter hailing from Manchester. Kev has spent the last 3 years on and off the road with his band. Over the past 6 months Kev and this supremely talented group of musicians took some time out to record Kev’s much anticipated debut album.
This will be no ordinary début. Kev and his producer/engineer John Lawrence (Gorky’s Zycotic Minci) made the decision early on that the album should be as ‘live’ as possible and that location would be a huge factor in achieving this.
After much deliberation a 300 year old church in the deep countryside of North Wales was chosen and proved a perfect setting for Kev’s highly atmospheric compositions.
” ‘The atmosphere in the place is just incredible, the building was acousticly designed for the male voice choir so it is absolutely perfect ”.
The album Launch party will be held Upstairs @ Whelans Thursday 23rd March and will be available pre release at the show.
Kev’s Début album will then be released online in spring 2011. There will be a live DVD release to follow and Kev will be touring..
