Juliet’s Rescue are a five piece group who with the help of technology produce verses inspired by summer, and choruses that can only be described as captivating, catchy, and epic! The group characterize themselves under the genre of electronic rock, however their sound has a myriad of dimensions to it, including pop, progressive rock, and jazz.

Throughout the last nine months the group have been writing and recording intensively. They have not long finished the recording of their second EP which is already beginning to grab the attention of many, even before its release. The EP is already being used on the soundtrack for TV3’s ‘Xposé’, and RTÉ’s drama ‘RAW’.

Recently the group have been hitting the gigging scene hard and in the last few months they have performed in most of the prestigious venues around Dublin’s City and beyond. As talented as the group are behind the scenes at writing and recording, their live performance is where they really shine!

The bands most recent triumph has been winning Ireland’s most prestigious and eminent music competition The King Kong Club, while in the process grabbing the attention of an assortment of the music industry’s finest; Collectively known as King Kong Records. Plans for future releases, music videos, shows and world domination have already begun!

History: Juliet’s Rescue established themselves in the summer of 2008, originally under the name ‘Box Social’. All of the members met through school. The first two years of the bands life were successful. With the release of their debut EP they assembled a large fan base, received copious amounts of radio play, and had performed at Irelands biggest music festivals (New Band Stage, Oxegen 2009) (Sea Sessions, 2010). http://m.soundcloud.com/julietsrescueofficial/sets/golden-days/s-c6kPP

The band recorded their second EP at the end of last July in Manor Park.Studios with acclaimed producer/engineer Neal Calderwood. They continue to write, record, gig, and amaze!

SUPER HANZ

Superhanz are a band from Clane, Co Kildare, Ireland. Stephen Fagan- Guitarist and singer, Nicky Kilduff- Bass and backing vocals, Rory McLoughlin- Guitar, David Pearson- Drums. They have been playing together for the past two years, though it is in the last year that the band have moved focus to creating original material. Superhanz have recently released their debut E.P. Alpha, recorded at Westland Studios with producer Alwyn Walker. Aplha has already received airplay on radio stations like 2fm and Dublin City fm.

“We are not a supergroup yet”, ‘We are not SuperTramp or the Super Furry Animals’, so says the Kildare based 4 piece Indie combo Superhanz. Lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Stephen Fagan says that the Band are happy to leave behind a string of Battle of the Bands victories and says that it is now time for the band to move to the next phase of its development and become more widely known to a greater audience.

“The experiences that we have gained playing live since we were sixteen has been a great help to us he says, but added ‘that the recently completed four track EP recorded at Westland Studios with the assistace of sound engineer and producer, Alwyn Walker, will show everyone what we are capable of”.

The four songs which are a mixture of Indie rock against an urban backdrop are a fresh look at an everlasting theme. They show a songwriting ability and performance of a maturing group who now in their early twenties are ready for anything. Backing vocalist and bass player Nicky Kilduff looks forward to further studio work and taking the band to the next level. ALAN AND THE ACCIDENT

Alan White is a singer/songwriter from Cork, Ireland who, in addition to his solo projects, is a member of the Canadian-based world collective, Macro Fiesta, In 1999, encouraged by a musical heritage, Alan picked up a guitar for the first time and never looked back. He has since travelled throughout Europe and Canada performing live as both a solo artist and with Macro Fiesta as the guitarist and vocalist. In August 09, Macro Fiesta released their Debut album “High Healthy & Happy”, which was co-written by Alan and whose breakout single, Shambles, written by Alan, has garnered national radio attention in Ireland as well as Canada, His song “What would I say” was featured on RTE’s Fade street in February 2011 along side some of the cream of Irish music. Alan’s music is meant to honestly reflect the lives we live, the love we lose and the hope that springs eternal and achieves this through a variety of genres including head bopping, toe tapping, reggae beats, folk country tunes, rock and roll and classic “pop” tunes. Alan currently resides in Cork where he is finalizing his album before embarking on a live tour across the country with his band Ross Hannon, Mike straight and Mike Fenton aptly named “alan & the accident” Their debut album is due for digital release in september 2012. Their music will do its utmost to make you tap your foot, dance around and listen to the words at the same time.
