^ Upstairs ^ Hypno Puppet are launching their debut E.P., “Rivers of Time” upstairs in Whelan’s on May 3rd. Hypno Puppet are an alt/ rock band currently based in Dublin city. Formed by actress/vocalist, Klara McDonnell from Dublin (Hidden Faces) and melodic guitarist/vocalist Sean Cray from Liverpool (Admission), after a chat in a singer/songwriter night about how they both wanted to be in a rock band again. An exciting, energetic live band that draw on an eclectic mix of influences (from the psycedelic late 60’s to the grungy 90’s) Their debut e.p. is released May 3rd. It was produced by Ruarc Stokes. The first single off the album is their dark bluegrass/acoustic rock inspired song, “Riverside”. Ticket are 7e and 10e (includes CD)
