Howard Marks – Scholar, Smuggler, Prisoner, Scribe

In 2013 intrepid bon viveur  Howard Marks will debut his brand new spoken word show; Scholar, Smuggler, Prisoner, Scribe.  With trademark honesty and penetrating humour, Howard will look back at four extraordinary and action packed phases of his life. Enthralling and hilarious in equal measure, you may think you know the Howard Marks story but there are many tales still left to tell.

Taking into consideration his name as an international spoken word artist, novelist, raconteur and world renowned cannabis smuggler, Marks fans range from 19 to 90.

His stories and anecdotes are enjoyed by three generations,  An ideal selling point for any promoter.

His autobiography Mr Nice has sold over 1 million copies world wide  and per capita most of them were sold in Ireland. It has gone onto be a successful Hollywood blockbuster film with friend and fellow Welsh maverick Rhys Ifans playing the main man himself.
