“HAIM are a group on a crest of a wave – in demand, adored and feeling capable of anything” – The Guardian

The brilliant HAIM have announced details of a headline show in Whelans on the 25th of May. Tickets €15 including booking fee on sale this Wednesday the 6th of March at 9am from ticketmaster outlets and online from www.ticketmaster.ie & www.wavtickets.ie

Following their head-turning introduction in 2012 with the acclaimed debut EP ‘Forever’ and it’s follow-up EP ‘Don’t Save Me’, 2012, San Fernando Valley sisters HAIM kick-off the new year as the BBC Sound of 2013 poll winners with their new EP, ‘Falling’.

Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Major Lazer and Usher) in LA, ‘Falling’ is undeniably West Coast pop at its finest. Timeless and passionate. Seductive and smart. It’s the sound of three very talented young sisters making music that brings together more than just the strands of their foremost influences. HAIM sound fresh, and ‘Falling’ is another very timely reminder as to why they are 2013’s most exciting new prospect.

Invited onto support tours across the US with Mumford & Sons, a British arena tour with Florence & The Machine, by way of their own sold-out tour of Europe, HAIM brought 2012 to close as one of the finest new live bands around, and the early phases of 2013 finds them locked in an LA studio putting the finishing touches to their debut album due out in late Spring.

With a return to SXSW in Texas scheduled for March, and a flurry of live activity across the globe currently being plotted for the next twelve months, HAIM marked their arrival in emphatic fashion, and yet their best is still very much to come.

HAIM release their new EP, ‘Falling’ on the 29th March 2013. The track ‘Falling’ is available to buy digitally now

Tickets for HAIM live in Whelans are priced at €15 and on sale this Wednesday at 9am from ticketmaster outlets and online from www.ticketmaster.ie & www.wavtickets.ie
