“HEART SWELL” ALBUM LAUNCH plus support POWPIG & SHRUG LIFE _ Main Venue _ Dott are from Galway, Ireland and play shiny, harmony-driven guitar pop. Their music drips with luscious harmonies, fuzzy guitars and addictive feel-good pop melodies. Their eagerly awaited album ‘Heart Swell’ was released on Graveface Records on June 8th 2018. The first single from the album ‘Like a Girl’ features Sadie Dupuis from Speedy Ortiz on guitar. The song has been heralded as ‘an anthem for the Repeal Movement’ with a beautiful video featuring many brave members of the Pro-Choice movement. Their sophomore record will follow up a string of releases including their bedroom demo’s release “Beverly Baldwin” (Mirror Universe Records, NYC 2016), Carousel EP (Split with Night School, Graveface Record US, 2015), Swoon LP (Graveface Record US, 2013) and their debut “Button” EP (Graveface Records US/Popical Island IRE, 2013) With an eager following on both sides of the Atlantic, Dott have appeared at international festivals such as SXSW, CMJ and CMW as well as Irish Festivals Electric Picnic, Indiependence, Camden Crawl and Westport Fest. They have recorded live sessions for Ireland’s Late Late Show, BreakThru Radio (NYC) 2FM Dan Hegarty, Arena RTE Radio 1, Ceol ar an Imeall TG4 and Community of Independents, DCTV. Dott have toured with and opened for bands such as Shellac, La Luz, Hinds, Chastity Belt, Sad13 and Honeyblood.
