DAVE MORRISSEY BAND

https://www.facebook.com/davemorrisseynews/ Dave Morrissey is a seasoned songwriter based in Portlaoise now and currently working on new material from his home studio for his second album. Following the release of his debut album ‘Bring Out The Light’ in 2012, Dave has toured extensively throughout Ireland and abroad covering ground in the UK, USA, Australia and Europe. Dave has supported many big Irish acts such as Imelda May, The 4 Of Us, Jack L, Sharon Shannon, Mundy and most recently Aslan. In 2016, Dave began attending music college in Bimm Dublin where the current band formed and continues to go from strength to strength on the live stage. The sound is big even though the songs are written on acoustic guitar. There’s vast arrangements here and everything from the bare acoustic ballad to full on Rock n Roll on stage! — — — — —

THE INK-LINGS

https://www.facebook.com/EoinKeelyMusic/ The Ink-lings are a Dublin based modern, folk band led by songwriters Eoin Keely and Briana Horan. Their songs are lyrically driven, emotive and thought provoking. The melodies and lyrics are interwoven with influences stretching from Irish folk to The National, Bon Iver, The Civil Wars and The XX. The songs tell tales of love, loss, morality and friendship. The sound swells from stripped back acoustic guitar to three part harmonies accompanied by piano, bass and mandolin. Their single “Star Wars”, recorded at Little Wolf Records, will be released in May 2017 and the band are in the process of recording their first album — — — — —

AARON PHELAN

https://www.facebook.com/aaron.phelan.547 19 year old Laois singer songwriter Aaron Phelan is honing his songwriting skills in BIMM Dublin. While staying true to his folk roots, his unique rhythmic style produces a distictive sound. Although a relative new-comer, he is making a serious rumble in the Dublin music scene.
