BADGER HILL (EP LAUNCH)

BADGER HILL

EP LAUNCH plus guest MARIA KELLY HEROES IN HIDING

_ Main Venue _

Badger Hill are a five-piece indie rock band from Dublin, Ireland, who formed in Spring 2012. The band played some of Dublin’s biggest venues, such as the Button Factory and the Sugar Club, before recording their first studio EP in March 2014. The EP was picked up by Ray Foley and the band appeared on 98FM, shortly before the very successful sell-out Let Me Go EP Launch in the Grand Social in Dublin. After the success of their first EP, the band were eager to produce new music and develop further. In August 2014, Badger Hill returned to record their second studio EP. Plans EP has a more rugged, more mature and self-assured sound to the band’s previous work. Badger Hill wanted to create an energetic and dynamic collection of songs that would translate onto the stage for their many live performances. Now, Badger Hill take these songs to the coveted Whelan’s MainStage in Dublin. Whelan’s is the undisputed home of up-and-coming Irish talent, and has recently played host to Damien Rice and Hozier, with an Ed Sheeran concert planned for this January. The band are very excited to present this: the official launch of the brand new Plans EP and the biggest night in the short history of the band. The band have always endeavoured to put on a big show. As such, a full night of music is planned, with two live support acts, and an Official Afterparty to take place for the rest of the night after Badger Hill’s headline slot. We hope to see you there on the night for Badger Hill’s biggest live performance to date. Details of the Offical Afterparty will be announced soon, as well as news of the very prestigious support acts.
