Appian Way, are a five piece band based out of Mullingar, Co Westmeath, Ireland, with Keith hailing from Roscommon. Formed in January 2012, with members Elaine, Keith, Ciaran, Daragh & Joey.
The band began writing and rehearsing and entered the studio to record and release their debut track ‘TEIGNMOUTH ELECTRON’ which is available on iTunes. The tracks were recorded in The Vibe studios by producer Leo Logan.
The band have just finished a series of dates which included shows across Ireland in Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Limerick & Westmeath. A Spring tour is currently in the planning, where the band plan to tour each corner of Ireland, with shows across the water in the UK also been planned for this Summer and the band planning to record the follow up single to Teignmouth Electron, 2013 is going to be an exciting year for the band, so make sure you catch Appian Way on their journey in upstairs in Whelans on Friday 1st March.
