COVID-19 STATEMENT Effective Immediately from 1800hrs today 12th March 2020 Covid-19 Government Directive issued to cancel all public events until Sunday 29th March of a capacity of 100 people and over. Following today’s (12th March 2020) Irish Government directive to cancel all events of over 100 capacity (indoor) and 500 capacity (outdoor) due to take place between now and 29th March MCD Productions has now postponed all affected shows. MCD Productions is currently working with artists and venues to reschedule all dates. Original tickets purchased for all affected events will remain valid for rescheduled dates which will be notified to patrons on confirmation. plus support _ Main Venue _ Following her sold-out Grand Social show, Aimee announces headline 2020 gig at Whelan’s Dublin artist Aimée’s infectious blast of 90s-inspired pop “Don’t Bother” landed earlier this year – delivering a top 40 airplay hit in Ireland, and playlisted at 45+ UK radio stations. Her follow up single “Break Me” – written by Aimée and detailing her battle with anxiety- has been met with matched if not greater enthusiasm, featuring on Spotify UK New Music Friday, Pop Right Now & The Pop List. Aimée played her debut festival show at Electric Picnic in September, her debut headline show venue was upgraded due to demand and will now take place Nov 24 in the Grand Social, and you can catch her as part of the New Year’s Festival Dublin. New music is coming very early in 2020 for this emerging Irish pop artist, whose star is set firmly in the ascent. Aimee will play Whelan’s Friday, March 27th 2020 with tickets from €14.95 on sale Wednesday, November 27th @ 10am
